Architected PwC Advisory's custom AI platform, enabling integrations with proprietary PwC APIs and custom workflows more suitable for analysts than a chat interface, with a verified research pipeline that eliminated hallucinated sources in executive deliverables. The result was eliminating analyst drafting time on Phase Zero reports — the preliminary research that drives client upsell. Delivered alongside two engineers.
Operated as a forward-deployed engineer, acting as the technical point of contact for clients post-engagement and translating business problems into working AI solutions. The platform was subsequently productised into a client-facing engagement, resulting in a five-figure billing for PwC.

Architected a strategic migration from Qt to .NET Maui, driven by Qt's increasingly restrictive licensing terms and the need to accelerate UX development velocity through hot reload. The new stack also enabled an internationally distributed engineering team across New Zealand and Chennai, doubling feature velocity.

Ported Trimble Access — a 1M+ line, 20-year-old C++ surveying application — from Windows to Android, enabling the hardware team's strategic shift away from bulky Windows controllers to a wider range of Android devices. The port opened lower-end markets including India, where a custom variant was delivered to the Indian Army. Also led the integration of Trimble Access with Trimble Cloud, replacing local project storage with direct cloud sync for field teams.

Built data ingestion and warehousing infrastructure for flight certification (DO-178) at the company behind the Martin Jetpack — ultimately proving a fault in third-party avionics firmware through correlated test data across multiple sources.

Acted as fractional CTO for an AI-powered learning platform targeting Australia's property development industry. Designed and owned the full technical architecture — from DNS and cloud hosting through to database design, payment processing, and AI prompt flows — giving the founders a single technical decision-maker across the entire stack. Managed a junior developer to execute the build.
